For partners in the LCD video wall market, the question is what an upgrade to LED actually requires. The answer is less than expected: no wall to demolish, no interior work, no structural change, no rewiring, no new processor.
Take the LCD down, put the AT up.
What the AT Series Offers
AET hosted LCD video wall partners at its Songshan Lake headquarters on 31 August, showing the AT series in 43, 46, 54, 55 and 60 inches at 1K standard resolution and 46 and 60 inches at 2K, a 2 × 2 AT55 wall reaching 2K standard resolution, and a monitoring and command centre configuration.
The questions from partners were practical: why is it so thin, how flat is it, how much power does it save, and why does a four-cabinet wall need only one HDMI connection and one cable at the back.
Compatibility
The AT series was developed specifically for replacing LCD video walls. Standard size, standard ratio, standard resolution and standard mounting mean it is compatible with the equipment already installed, and for new-build projects it installs and commissions faster.
In the United States, where the series has been well received, the fact that nothing on site has to change is what makes the upgrade straightforward for customers moving off LCD.
