On 24 April AET held the Xian stop of its 2023 partner conference, with partners from Shaanxi, Henan, Jiangxi, Xinjiang, Gansu and Qinghai.
The stand carried a DCI-graded cinema screen, AT series standard units in 43, 46, 55 and 60 inches with HDMI, an outdoor Chasing Light naked-eye 3D wall, the NX series at P0.9 and a 120-inch all-in-one. Everything except the outdoor screen used QCOB.
The Questions Partners Actually Asked
-
Why does a 2K wall of four AT units look this real? Because the signal is displayed point to point at standard resolution, with no scaling.
-
Why is the outdoor screen cool after a full day of playback? Because dual-rail supply keeps R, G and B currents precise; the common-anode version saves more than 25% and the common-cathode version more than 40%.
-
Why does the fine-pitch surface feel smooth with no visible grain? QCOB lamination on a multilayer board flattens the surface and diffuses the light.
-
Why is the back of the cabinet as tidy as the front? Cable routing and component layout are designed, not left to installation.
The Colour Demonstration
Two 120-inch screens of identical size, architecture, resolution, refresh, brightness, viewing angle and appearance were played side by side: one built from four AT60 units with DCI-P3 coverage, one a standard all-in-one. The difference in perceived realism was immediate, which is the argument for the cinema-grade colour specification.
The T series carries DCI-P3 as standard; the AT series standard units, the E series indoor range and the all-in-one products can be specified with it.
