In 2026 Turkey entered the 5G commercial era. Türk Telekom opened the country’s first 5G experience centre — the Türk Telekom Technology and Innovation Centre — with the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure attending the unveiling.
The centre combines immersive experience, applied research and incubation, presenting more than ten 5G use cases from Industry 4.0 and smart cities to telemedicine. It is a window through which Turkey shows the world its digital capability.
AET supplied the visual core: twelve P1.25 screens, curved and flat, forming a 145 m² system that carries visitors into the 5G future.
The P1.25 fine-pitch modules combine high refresh with HDR, so the installation handles 8K video streams, digital twins and remote operation — the applications that define 5G — as something visitors can see, touch and feel rather than read about.
AET’s record in Turkey already runs from a 500 m² screen for the country’s centenary celebrations to national institution meeting halls, the disaster and emergency management authority and the 112 emergency call centre. Taking on the national 5G experience centre continues that trust.
