The 2023 Silk Road Meteorological Technology Seminar and the Xinjiang Meteorological Society annual meeting took place in Kashgar, with more than 300 experts gathering to discuss disaster prevention, climate change response, and forecasting and warning technology along the Silk Road.
AET attended with partner Xinjiang Mingliang and presented a paper on smart audio-visual systems for meteorological work, covering command centre, video consultation, media publishing and service information publishing solutions, with reference projects from several agencies.
The Problems the Systems Address
Agency requirements are specific: information silos that limit combined use, inconsistent operations and maintenance, business demands that outrun video quality, and scattered entry points that make ad hoc retrieval difficult.
The solutions build a data display platform, a real-time monitoring platform, a video platform and an operational platform on top of each other, supporting routine management, dynamic control, status monitoring, emergency command and decision support.
One Screen for the Whole Picture
Extreme weather events are increasing, and the demands on forecasting, warning and response are rising with them. The AT series standard display units — 43, 46, 54, 55 and 60 inches — replace conventional LCD screens without changing the mounting dimensions or brackets, and resolve fine changes in imagery and data.
The full indoor fine-pitch range is built for durability, vibration and moisture resistance, and continuous operation, including in extreme climates. The audio-visual solution adds a visual interaction management system that switches signals across the whole command structure and controls the equipment in it.
