A service network that reaches the county level is what makes a project business work. Five recent installations, in five different sectors, show the range.
One: A Science Commission Meeting Room
The Shanghai Municipal Commission of Science and Technology runs the city’s technology policy, guidelines and programme delivery. Its multimedia meeting room was fitted with AET AT series units at 46 inches.
The AT series is the first full-colour direct-view LED display specified in inches, which is what lets it replace an existing panel without rebuilding the room. Standard size locks to standard resolution, so a 4K or 8K wall is assembled rather than engineered. For a meeting room the practical result is a screen that reads like a screen, with no visible structure and no resampling artefacts on documents and spreadsheets.
Two: A Panda Reserve Digital System
The Dujiangyan office of the Sichuan Wolong National Nature Reserve administration completed a digital upgrade and now runs a giant panda digital management system.
The installation uses NX series at P1.56 in a 16:9 ratio, matching the standard video sources used for operational data and supporting 2K, 4K, 8K and higher resolutions. The NX cabinet uses AET’s own floating connector, adjustable on six axes, which is what holds flatness on a wall that has to stay flat while people work in front of it.
For a reserve, the screen is not decoration. Breeding records, camera feeds, veterinary data and research output all arrive at the same place, and the display is how a management team reads them at once.
Three: A Chinese Medicine Plant
Xiamen Traditional Chinese Medicine Factory, part of Shanghai Pharmaceuticals, has deep experience in research and formulation work, and a meeting display requirement that grew with the company.
The room was fitted with NX series at P1.56 using QCOB. The laminated surface is the reason it was specified: a coastal city means humidity, and a sealed panel surface is what keeps moisture away from the devices. QCOB also converts point emission into a surface source, which widens the viewing angle past 160 degrees and holds colour accuracy at any brightness the room is set to.
Four: A Vocational College
Shanxi Engineering Vocational College, a national demonstration institution, uses AET channel modules at 320 × 180 mm and P1.25 as an information display for the campus.
The channel range is built for volume: a 16:9 ratio that matches mainstream video, a composite plastic-steel chassis that is light, stiff and resistant to distortion, fast heat dissipation, quick installation and quick maintenance.
Five: A Provincial Archive
The meeting room and the lecture hall at the Shanxi Provincial Archives use channel modules at 320 × 160 mm in P1.5 and P1.8.
The requirement there was legibility of documents under room lighting, which comes down to even emission, high reliability, 3,840 Hz refresh with no trailing or ghosting, and modules that can be replaced individually from the front without dismantling the wall.
