From 13 to 16 October the ProIntegration Technologies 2022 exhibition was held at Borodino near Moscow. AET’s international display division and Russian marketing team attended with the company’s newest standardised products.
The stand carried the fifth-generation T series, full flip-chip Mini COB, and the company’s own QCOB fine-pitch range.
The T Series
Released in September 2022, the T series smart control display terminal is an independent 1K and 2K display unit built on the fifth-generation standardised architecture. Its defining functions are the ones that remove equipment: HDMI direct connection, automatic screen linking, and plug-in operation.
The demonstrations of HDMI direct connection and automatic linking drew the largest crowds on the stand. The point being shown is not a feature but a subtraction — the video processor and sending box are gone, and a wall comes up from a laptop with one cable.
Full Flip-Chip Mini COB
As pixel pitch falls and viewing distance shortens, packaging becomes the constraint: reliability, brightness, power, consistency and gamut all start at the device. Full flip-chip COB answers at that level, with very low reflection, low moiré, a deep black background, high brightness and contrast, comfortable viewing and high protection.
QCOB
QCOB combines AET’s own laminated fine-pitch panel process with quantum dot technology. The lamination protects the panel surface completely, which solves the two chronic failure modes of fine-pitch LED — knocked LEDs and dust accumulation — and the quantum dot layer lifts brightness and softens the emission.
The product has become the most-visited item on AET stands at exhibition after exhibition, largely because the argument is visible: the surface looks like a panel rather than like a grid of components.
The 138-Inch All-in-One
Demand for smart meeting, high-end commercial and near-cinema products rose sharply through the pandemic years. The all-in-one category answers it by integrating the functions of a computer, a television, a whiteboard, a projector and a video conferencing terminal, and by working with DLP, LCD and OLED equipment and with Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.
The 138-inch unit on the stand was specified for that use: a single display that replaces a room full of equipment, on the argument that a meeting room should not require an operator.
