At ISLE 2026, the International Smart Display and System Integration Exhibition, AET’s NX COB Ultra took an Excellence Award — recognition of how far the product departs from a conventional COB build.
Chip Integration, Architecture Change
NX COB Ultra opens a different path for LED display through chip-level integration. An AET-designed high-integration chip merges the logic IC, the constant-current source IC and the row-scan IC into one device, removing the receiving card and the sending card entirely and simplifying the system from the hardware architecture upward.
Plug In, Display, No Delay
Gone are the sending box and the bundle of network cables. A signal source connects to the screen with a single HDMI cable, plug and play, delivering what is effectively zero latency. That simplification matters most where real-time response is the requirement: virtual production, interactive installations, live control.
Subtraction in Design, Multiplication in Performance
Against a conventional COB product, NX COB Ultra uses more than 83% fewer ICs for the same display area. A P0.9 COB module needs 16 of the integrated devices to do what 108 conventional ICs did. Circuit complexity falls at the source, which removes heat sources and failure points, raises system stability and settles the problems of signal delay and multi-chip coordination.
Standard Ratios, Standard Cabinets
NX COB Ultra uses the 16:9 golden ratio and the AT series standard cabinet, supporting 55-inch, 81-inch and other standard sizes, with dual power and dual backup. Native 22-bit greyscale and 7,680 Hz refresh sit alongside a 178-degree viewing angle, high dynamic contrast and low blue light. The result covers virtual production, command centres, smart meeting rooms, commercial display and home cinema with one platform.
