Kuala Lumpur International Airport is Malaysia’s largest hub and one of the busiest in the world, and has three times been named World’s Best Airport.
AET has completed and lit an ultra-high-definition U-shaped naked-eye 3D display system for the airport’s aerotrain transit system — another international aviation benchmark for Chinese display engineering.
From Information Board to Visual Landmark
The project’s aim was to improve the passenger visual route and the sense of space. AET identified key points in the terminal and deployed two U-shaped naked-eye 3D screens.
Beyond the depth effect and the impression of objects leaving the screen, the displays integrate live flight status and wayfinding information, so the visual experience and the operational function are carried by the same surface.
Three Capabilities Behind It
Product. The core is P1.86 fine-pitch LED, chosen for reliability, clarity and energy control under 24-hour operation and difficult lighting.
Execution. The terminal’s architecture and its uninterrupted operation set the constraints; the team worked around both with precision engineering and cross-border coordination.
Local service. A local team and the global service network provided support from project development through long-term maintenance — the basis of repeat business with international clients such as KLIA.
From Carrier to Experience
An international hub is a gateway that concentrates high-value business and leisure travellers, which makes it one of the most efficient places in the world to present an international brand.
Two U-shaped screens woven into the passenger route make the airport’s service promise visible, and give the World’s Best Airport title another concrete reference point.
