When tens of thousands of pairs of eyes are fixed on the same patch of green, how do you make sure no corner of the ground misses the moment?
In Rajasthan, India, the new Madan Paliwal Miraj International Cricket Stadium needed exactly that. AET supplied two outdoor screens totalling close to 400 m², giving a stadium built for crowds the visual scale to match.
Cricket Is Not a Niche Sport Here
Cricket is the most watched sport in India, and the property that draws the largest audience is not the World Cup — it is the Indian Premier League, whose reach in the country is comparable to the World Cup globally.
The Madan Paliwal Miraj stadium sits near Udaipur. It hosts international cricket, and it is built to host concerts and large ceremonies as well, which means the display has to work for a scoreboard, a broadcast feed and a stage backdrop.
Two Screens, One Field of View
AET built two P6.67 outdoor screens, one on each side of the ground, into a symmetrical dual-screen matrix. Each is roughly 20 m wide and 9 m high; together they cover close to 400 m² and wrap the full span of play.
The point of a pair is coverage without gaps: a shot from the middle of the pitch and a diving save on the boundary both land on a screen the nearest spectator can read.
The Engineering Behind It
The stadium runs AET’s 960 × 960 mm outdoor cabinet at P6.67. Brightness reaches 7,500 nits, so the image holds at midday and the far stand can still read the score, the replay and the detail.
Refresh rate is 3,840 Hz or higher, at broadcast standard. A fast bowler sends the ball down at more than 140 km/h — close to 40 metres a second — and that refresh rate keeps every frame clean, with no flicker even under a high-speed camera.
Ingress protection is IP65, and the cabinet is sealed against dust and driven rain. From Rajasthan summer heat to monsoon, the screen keeps running and the match does not stop for the display.
Delivered Across Borders
For this project AET worked with international partners through product customisation, cross-border logistics and on-site construction. That speed is the global supply chain and the local service capability working as one system rather than two.
Why Outdoor LED Is a Commercial Asset
An outdoor stadium screen is no longer just an information board. It is the link between the crowd and the event — and for the operator it is a revenue engine: sponsorship inventory delivered to a captive audience, live advertising switched on demand, highlight reels looping through the intervals.
AET builds that asset with safety and longevity in mind, so the capital cost turns into a return that keeps arriving — season after season.
Stadium and Arena Projects
AET supplies outdoor cabinets from P4 to P10 with IP65 sealing and 7,500-nit brightness. Send us the ground layout and sightline drawing and we will size the matrix.
