On 14 June, the Dongguan Daily published a feature on local companies taking part in the Japan Business Dongguan Visit organised by the Dongguan municipal government.
The event on 13 June brought close to 100 major Japanese companies and more than 200 delegates to Dongguan to examine the city’s industrial base and investment environment, with four parallel sessions covering new materials and advanced equipment, new energy vehicles, next-generation electronics, and supply-demand matching for local companies going overseas.
The visiting companies spanned advanced equipment manufacturing, new materials, new energy vehicles, next-generation electronic information and trading services, including established names in semiconductor packaging equipment, flexible circuit boards and general trading.
AET on the Stand
At the next-generation electronics session, AET presented its work in ultra-high-definition LED display to the Japanese delegation — the front end of a supply chain that runs from substrate and chip through packaging to the finished screen.
Several delegates said the visit deepened their understanding of Dongguan’s business environment and manufacturing capability, and some discussed next steps on cooperation.
