Chinese display technology is once again on show in Europe. The Barcelona exhibition centre is currently the centre of gravity for global audiovisual work, and this year’s ISE theme — Push Beyond — is visible on every stand.
At booth 3R700, AET is running a tour through three boundaries: technology, application and partnership.
Technology: MIP and COB in Parallel
Responding directly to what customers ask for — higher performance, better reliability, lower energy and lower maintenance cost — AET is showing a product matrix built on two engines.
On the MIP side, the AT55 MIP series is the standard-bearer: the industry’s first Micro-level MIP product built on a 55-inch standard display unit, with DCI-P3 gamut, 12,000:1 contrast, HDR and a 175-degree viewing angle. The claim is not incremental: a seamless replacement for the previous direct-view generation, with a step change in result.
The NX MIP series is aimed at harder rooms — broadcast studios and high-end command centres — where package-level colour binning delivers the brightness and chromatic uniformity that keeps every module matched, and reliability supports 24/7 operation.
On the COB side, NX COB Ultra represents a change of underlying logic. Its chip-level three-in-one integration removes the receiving and sending cards, which means genuinely zero signal delay. For a virtual production team that translates directly into seeing the final composite on set, saving tens of hours of post-production sync and correction.
AT55 COB is the usability benchmark: one standard 1K resolution per cabinet, multiplied to 2K, 4K and 8K+ whole-wall resolutions, with point-to-point display from the source. The effect is to lower the technical threshold and the long-term labour cost of high-end display.
The COB texture screen is a first showing, and marks a move from functional equipment to spatial asset — simultaneously a static art finish and a dynamic high-definition display, in marble, wood grain, mirror or a custom texture.
Application: From a Device to a Spatial Element
Technology only releases value inside a scenario. The standardisation, panelisation and scenario strategy turns a display unit from an isolated device into an element that adapts and integrates.
In a command and dispatch centre, the standardised wall assembles quickly and responds in milliseconds. In a high-end meeting room, an integrated solution folds display, interaction and audio into one space with no gap between them.
In XR production, NX COB Ultra’s zero delay and 22-bit greyscale make it a reliable bridge between the real and the virtual. In commercial and art spaces, the texture screen is a stone or timber wall when off and a display when on — an asset that raises brand value rather than a black rectangle.
And through radically simplified installation, intelligent control and cinema-grade image quality, AET is bringing professional display into high-end home cinema.
Partnership: Global Network, Local Response
Real evolution goes beyond the product, into a partnership that is sustainable and dependable. What AET is showing in Barcelona is vertical integration from core chip and precision packaging to manufacturing and global service — a commitment that runs through the product lifecycle rather than a supply chain claim.
Service networks and local technical teams in the main markets mean fast, professional support that fits local requirements wherever the customer is.
On longevity and environmental value, common-cathode driving and related design cut whole-wall power by up to 35% against comparable solutions, and long-life design and materials reduce operating cost while supporting sustainability targets.
