ISE ran from 30 January to 2 February at the Barcelona exhibition centre, in its twentieth year and with record attendance. AET was at booth 5A500.
The stand concentrated on three things: new Mini and Micro LED technology, new architecture, and new applications.
Full Flip-Chip COB
Full flip-chip COB standard walls in common-cathode configuration were the centre of the stand: ultra-high definition, uniform black level, high flatness, and low temperature rise with low energy consumption.
Micron-scale emitting chips in a full flip-chip package produce a deeper black and higher contrast, which is where the image quality comes from.
Standard Units
The AT series and its associated solutions remained the second focus, with a standard wall built from 55-inch units to show direct connection, plug-and-use operation and standard compatibility.
In practice the standard unit is easier to specify, faster to install and friendlier to use, which makes it suited both to replacing an existing screen and to a new high-quality installation.
