From 17 to 19 June, InfoComm 2026 opened at the Las Vegas Convention Centre. AET took to booth C8887 in Central Hall with two world premieres — the KOALA low-scan COB platform and the COB art flexible module — alongside more than ten products across the COB and MIP routes, covering broadcast, meeting, commercial display and creative art.
Under the theme “COB × MIP, technology × imagination”, what AET brought to the show was not only product innovation but a better answer for the global display industry.
KOALA Low-Scan COB: One Product for Complex Rooms
KOALA is an indoor fine-pitch product built for complex environments. The version shown at InfoComm centres on a differentiated low-scan, high-refresh configuration.
Broadcast studios and virtual production stages commonly need a mix of curved, flat, right-angle and ring geometry in one room. The conventional answer is to combine flexible modules, standard cabinets and custom parts — which makes black level and colour temperature hard to unify and leaves visible creases at the joints. KOALA covers every geometry with three standard cabinet sizes — 480 × 540 mm, 240 × 540 mm and 480 × 270 mm — so one product family removes the visual break between different build types and keeps the whole wall on one black level and one colour temperature.
On top of that, KOALA now moves to full flip-chip COB packaging, with gains in reliability, image quality, efficiency and protection. With 1/32 low-scan driving and 7,680 Hz refresh, it is aimed squarely at broadcast, live production and XR virtual shooting.
COB Art Flexible Module: A New Category
The second world premiere is the industry’s first LED digital material that combines customisable art texture with COB flexible display.
Its capability sits in two dimensions. The first is freedom of texture: with the screen off, the panel can present marble, wood grain, landscape imagery and other material finishes, so the display stops being a black wall in the room. The second is freedom of form: a single module bends through 30 degrees, and twelve modules close a complete circle. Critically, the flexible module connects directly to standard rigid modules and cabinets, so a project can mix them freely without commissioning a custom part for every irregular area.
On delivery, customisation is available at three levels — full screen, single cabinet and single module — to match different design depths and budgets. Because AET controls the chain from chip to screen, black level and texture stay consistent across production batches: standardised delivery in the way a building material is standardised. In daily use the COB surface emits softly, and IP65 protection handles the demands of commercial interiors.
This is not simply a better LED screen. It is the opening of a new category, and its boundary is set not by AET but by the imagination of each user.
Two Routes, One Direction
Behind the two launches are the two development paths AET is currently running, both pointing the same way: a better answer for global display.
The first addresses mature markets — broadcast, meeting, command and control — by going deep on the real pain points of specific scenarios. The KOALA low-scan configuration is exactly this: solving long-standing industry problems in assembly flexibility, product precision and visual consistency.
The second steps outside the traditional boundary of LED display. The COB art flexible module is positioned not as a better screen but as a new digital material that can replace conventional finishes, opening application space beyond price competition.
What both rest on is AET’s full-chain capability, from chip process and packaging to end application — the reason the company can run COB and MIP in parallel and serve mature and emerging markets at the same time.
