AET has handed over a 19.2 × 8.62 m outdoor LED screen to the Dongguan Sports Centre arena — more than 165 m² of P8 mounted high on one side of the field, in fifteen days from instruction to switch-on.
The screen is the most visible object at the ground. What matters commercially is that it was delivered without interrupting a single fixture.
Fifteen Days, End to End
Design, product selection, installation and commissioning were compressed into a fortnight. The project team worked around the venue’s operating calendar, so training sessions and fixtures ran as scheduled while the structure went up.
First Outing: The Guangdong Super League
The screen debuted in the Guangdong Super League, carrying score, information, replay and promotion. With live technical support on site, match operations ran faster and information reached the stands in real time — which is what professional league presentation now requires.
A Permanent Piece of Venue Infrastructure
The screen stays. As fixed match infrastructure for the Dongguan Sports Centre it will serve the Super League, village tournaments, athletics and community sport — part of the city’s “sport plus” programme rather than a one-off event installation.
That speed comes from depth. As a new-display brand under the GuangDong Guangda group, AET sits on a full direct-view LED supply chain, and local service capacity converts into delivery advantage on projects like this one.
Event Deadlines
If a venue has a fixed opening date, tell us the date first. We will work the schedule backwards from it.
